Refund policy

Please ensure patterns, styles, colors, and your selected Tesla model are correct prior to submitting your order.

For solid color items, if you are unsure of the actual look of the colors, please use the name of the color provided (ie. "3M Matte Red") and search for videos on YouTube to get a more accurate representation of the colors in different lighting. All designs are printed on 3M vehicle wrap vinyl. Nothing is actually 3-dimensional or made of metal or wood and all designs are simulated renderings.

TLDR: Limited 14 day return/exchange policy for most products, 15% restocking fee plus cost of all shipping (restocking fee may be waived if receiving store credit), damaged or used returns will not be accepted.

TeslaEmblems.com is a small privately owned and operated business with a handful of employees that does not have the resources compared to a large multi-billion dollar corporation. We will do our best to handle all issues in a reasonable manner and will always stand behind our product and commitment to quality. Most products are produced on an order by order basis. Due to the custom nature of our products, we have a limited 14 day return/exchange policy for most products. This means you have 14 days after receiving your item(s) to request a return. See below for a list of non-returnable items.

Eligible Returns

Your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unused and in its original packaging. You also must be the original buyer since we can only refund the original payment. We are unable to refund orders still in transit, see our shipping policy for more details.

If your return is received damaged, missing pieces, used or in a non-resellable condition, it will be refused and you forfeit your right to a refund. The product will be disposed in 2 business days of notifying you of the refusal, unless you pay for shipping costs to send the items back to you.

To start a return:

Contact us to receive a return authorization (RA) by replying to your order confirmation email or contacting us through our contact page. Please make sure to provide your original order number or email used to place the order as well as details regarding the reason for return.

If your return is accepted, we’ll send you a return prepaid shipping label, as well as instructions on how and where to send your package. Items sent back to us without first requesting a return will not be accepted.

Replace a Damaged, Defective, or Broken Item

You can replace items eligible for replacement by contacting our customer service via email at support@teslaemblems.com or through the form found on our contact page. If the item doesn't have a replacement option you'll need to return the original item and place a new order.

Restocking Fee

All returns/exchanges are subject to a 15% restocking fee PLUS the actual cost of return shipping.

Customer is responsible for return shipping. At our discretion, we may make a one-time exception to waive the restocking fee if you choose to accept store credit in-place of a refund. As with anything, original shipping costs are non-refundable, since obviously the carrier was already paid.

This 15% restocking fee is to help us recover original shipping costs as well as other administrative and processing fees.

Refunds

Once we’ve received and inspected and approved your return, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method, minus any fees. Please keep in mind that it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund (10+ days sometimes). If more than 15 business days have passed since we’ve approved your return, please contact us.

Exchanges

For approved product exchanges, customers will be responsible for all shipping costs associated with the exchange. A replacement order, with the same shipping speed as the original item, will be created. You'll need to return the original item within 20 days of requesting a return, or by the 'Return By Date' provided to you at the time of return creation to avoid being charged for keeping both the original and replacement items. Returns received after this time may be refused.

The replacement order may be shipped only after you ship the original item(s) back. We recommend you to ship back the original item(s) as soon as you request a replacement.

Returns Affecting Free Shipping

If you return part of your order and the remaining total drops below the free shipping threshold, the original shipping cost will be deducted from your refund, regardless of whether you take store credit or a refund.

Think of it like this, once your return changes the math, your order no longer qualifies for “free” shipping, so we just recalculate it as if it never did.

Order Cancellations

We cannot cancel orders after they have shipped. If you have recently placed an order and made a mistake, please contact us through our website as soon as possible. We are unable to guarantee cancellation but will do our best to accommodate you. Once an item has shipped, the order is considered complete and now you will need to request a return and follow the above 👆guidelines.

Address Errors

We do not input any address information. All of that is provided by you the customer, your Shop.com account or your digital wallet. It is your responsibility to verify the correct address is input during checkout. Our order confirmation email also gives you another opportunity to verify your address, so there are no excuses.

Orders shipped to an incorrect address due to customer error are not eligible for a refund or replacement. Orders that are "Returned to Sender" due to address errors will have the actual cost of shipping (usually about $4.50 for standard shipping) deducted from the total and the remaining balance will be refunded. Simple logic, we didn't make the mistake, so we shouldn't have to pay for it.

Damages, Defects & Other Issues

Please inspect your order upon receipt and contact us immediately if your item is defective, damaged or if you receive the wrong item

We may ask you to share pictures of your item to help us review the issue. For a damaged product, make sure that the damage is clearly shown in the image and ensure you provide photos of all package contents as well as all sides of your packaging.

If you have fitment issues, do not discard the product. Please take photos of the product, the packaging as well as the item the product was for (your actual keycard or charge port) so that we can determine the issue.

Products that are damaged or torn by the customer do not qualify as a return or product warranty, obviously, but it needs to be said. If you made an oopsie, please contact us, we're usually willing to provide a discounted replacement.

Exceptions / Non-Returnable items

Certain types of items cannot be returned, like custom products (such as special orders or personalized items), full vehicle wrap kits, CT wrap kits, cut vinyl by the foot/yard, or anything that has been used or installed. Please get in touch if you have questions or concerns about your specific item.

Unfortunately, we cannot accept returns or exchanges on clearance items, gift cards, Buy 1 Get 1 Free offers, or bundles.

Returns for items shipped by a third party vendor, such as accessories, may have a different return policy than ours. Therefore, all of these returns must go through the vendor.

European Union 14 day cooling off period

Notwithstanding the above, if the merchandise is being shipped into the European Union, you have the right to cancel or return your order within 14 days, for any reason and without a justification. As above, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused, with tags, and in its original packaging. Buyer is responsible for return shipping and the original non-standard delivery shipping costs, such as express delivery, are non-refundable. Goods made to order or that are clearly personalized, are excluded from this rule.
