With 15 years professional installation experience in this industry, I can tell you with absolute certainty, if you had difficulty transferring the decals onto your emblem, then there is positively, 100%, surface contamination on your OE emblems. Likely spray detailer or a more agressive ceramic coating | To prove this point, please take your favorite painters tape or some clear packaging tape and stick it to the same letters, it will fall off or pull away just as easy, if not easier. | We don't use cheap vinyl and the material used for these small letters has a permanent adhesive which requires some effort to remove. These decals *WILL NOT* fall off from a wash if the surface is clean and free of contaminants. This is why we emphasize so much in the instructions about prepping the surface before installation. | Luckily for you, we provided you a free spare set of decals with your order already. Please take another shot at application, but this time either degrease the emblem face first, or use a claybar to break the surface tension of a permanent ceramic coating.
